1959 Ford Country Sedan – video walk around

To some of us there is nothing more beautiful that a 1950s station wagon, and this 1959 Ford Country Sedan is certainly beautiful. It looks amazing in its Torch Red and Colonial White paintwork.

To some people a car is just a disposable tool that is thrown on the scrap heap after its useful life with station wagons most likely to be seen this way. For us car fans we like to treat them with respect and admire their beauty.

To see a station wagon survive is a lovely sight as they we far more likely to be abused. This Country Sedan is definitely a sight for sore eyes.

Ford built 269,378 station wagons for 1959 and this 4 door (fordoor), 6 passenger Country Sedan was 1 of 94,601 built that year.

The trim levels on these Country Sedans was an intermediate level, equal to that of the Fairlane models. They provide 92 cu. ft. of loadspace with the seats down.
