The Sand White over Horizon Blue paint looks great on this 1957 Lincoln Capri 2-door Hardtop.
A facelift for 1957 gave the Capri more pronounced fins that slanted at the rear. They also housed the taillamps. The front end was also given stacked lights. The lower lights were just driving lights but they gave them that dual headlamp look that was to be popular from 1958.
The standard engine fitted to these cars was a 368 cubic inch V8. However this car is now equipped with a 351ci Windsor V8 Engine.
The Capri was 224.6″ long with a 126″ wheelbase. Overall width was 80.3″
Primary competition for the Capri would have been the Cadillac 62 series. Their 2-door hardtop was around $40 cheaper.
