This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door Club Victoria looks rather striking in Samoan Coral. It is powered by a 289 cubic inch V8 and has a Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission.
Galaxie 500 was the top-trim level for the Galaxie with the 289 cubic inch being the base V8. You could upgrade to a 390 or a massive 427 cubic inch V8.
This generation Galaxie ran from 1960 with the 1964 being the final year for this body style. The ’64 is destinctive with a single spear running from the front headlamps that tapers into a molding stripe half way down the front door.
Ford produced 206,996 2-door Club Victorias for 1964 at a base price of $2,763. This car also has power steering which was a $86 option. In total 505,397 Galaxie 500s where produced.
Hi there – we don’t actually sell cars although we do feature some cars that are for sale. When that’s the case we’ll point to the place it’s available. Many thanks
THE GALAXIE 500 IN THIS PICTURE HAS THE GALAXIE 500 XL HUBCAPS ON IT. THE XL HAD THE BUCKET SEATS IN IT. I HAD A NEW 1964 GALAXIE 500 CONVERTIBLE 390 V8 WITH 4 SPEED ON THE FLOOR. PAID 2,950.00 CASH FO IT.
I thought all XL500’s had floor shifts. I’ve never seen one with a column shift.
