1967 Chevrolet Camaro eats a chain-link fence – video footage

This is a bit painful to watch especially as there is a lot of damage to this heavily modified 1967 Chevrolet Camaro when it crashes. Unfortunately it’s a classic situation we’ve seen time and time again.  A successful show or meet and those leaving decide to show off a little. The day is clear and dry and just so tempting to hit the pedal HARD.  Looks like he opened the throttle up before he was straight and you can see the end result. This particular incident happened at the Cars and Coffee meet in Reno, Nevada on May 15 2016.

You can see it pretty much ripped off the front end but looks like everything behind this survived. When he gets the Camaro back in action we hope he’ll be a little more reserved on the public roads. Luckily the driver was uninjured but this could have ended up a lot worse considering he ended up on the other side of the road. Save it for the drag strip guys.

Kudos to the people that help out and get the car off the fence and clear away those rock chips to make the road safe.
