Impala was top of the line for ’62. Extra features included bright aluminum front seat end panels, extra long front and rear seat arm rests, sport-type steering wheel and Sport coupes and convertibles had a rear seat radio grille.
Chevrolet made 323,427 2-door sport hardtop coupes (across all series) for the 1962 model year.
My wife had one of these in 1964 without the skirts.
I had one like this but mine had radio antenna on the back right fender. I added
stainless steel skirts to mine.
